UPS Delivery To Wrong Address


The company I work for choose UPS to "deliver" an award for my 25 years of service with them. Although the shipping label was filled out correctly with my name and address, the UPS driver chose to deliver the package to some arbitrary address 45 miles away from my house. I called UPS customer service who confirmed the address was correct for delivery to my house and had no idea why the driver chose to deliver it to the other arbitrary address not even listed on the package. They then proceeded to tell me I needed to contact the sender to see if they could provide a replacement for me. What???/ They did everything right and UPS lost the package but they should replace it? Not sure who thought up this lame policy but it is as dumb as the UPS driver who can't read the label and deliver packages to the right place. STAY AWAY, Use Fedex.
